NMC slaps Rs 40,000 fine on Nagpur hospital for carelessly dumping hazardous waste

In a mission to promote Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) NMC slapped Nimbuna Tirpude Hospital with a fine of Rs 40,000 for carelessly dumping hazardous waste generated from the hospital.

The NMC on its official twitter handle wrote, “हॉस्पीटलमधील धोकादाय जैव वैद्यकीय कचरा जमा करून व त्याची जाळपोळ करून उपद्रव पसरविणा-या कामठी रोड इंदोरा येथील श्रीमती निंबुनाबाई तिरपुडे हॉस्पीटल अँड रिसर्च सेंटरवर मनपाच्या उपद्रव शोध पथकाद्वारे कारवाई करून ५० हजार रूपये दंड वसूल करण्यात आले.”
