NMC stickers outside air passengers’ houses to ensure home quarantine; strict action against violators

Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) would soon put stickers outside houses of passengers who have traveled by air since the resumption of domestic flights in Nagpur to ensure a home quarantine for 14 days. Strict action would be taken against anybody who violates the civic body’s order. The same strategy would be implemented for people traveling from other state or cities by road or rail to Nagpur so that even they are home quarantined for 14 days.

Tukaram Mundhe, NMC Commissioner said designated teams would acquire the list of individuals from police department who have traveled and a thorough health check-up of individuals in every concerned household would be conducted. Mundhe also appealed residents to alert the NMC in case anybody flouts the quarantine rules.
