In what can bring a huge sigh of relief to Nagpurians, no new case of coronavirus has been detected in the city since March 14. Nagpur has currently has four coronavirus patients, who are undergoing treatment at IGGMCH and GMCH.
Speaking to Nation Next, Dr Avinash Gawande, Medical Superintendent at GMCH, said, “Fortunately no new cases have been detected since last week. All four patients are recovering steadily but they will be kept under observation for some more days and tested again.”
Currently, all business outlets including bars, restaurants, clubs, wine shops, beer shops and malls in the city have been shut down by order to avoid spread of coronavirus. Nagpur Police have also imposed section 144 in the city. Plus, all passengers arriving at Nagpur airport from other countries are being quarantined at MLA hostel.
