Offices in Nagpur to remain completely shut till May 17: NMC Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe

Nagpur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe has announced that offices in the city will remain completely shut till May 17.

Giving some relaxations in the extended lockdown till May 17, Ministry of Home Affairs had released the guidelines on May 1 stating that private offices, even in Red Zones, will be able to operate with 33% strength. However, Nagpur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe has announced that the same won’t apply to Nagpur and the city will be under lockdown till May 17 without any relaxations.

Mundhe informed about the development through a video communique. Apart from the video, NMC has also released a set of guidelines for lockdown extension till May 17.
