On Janta Curfew day, Nagpur’s Hotel Ashok provides 1400 food packets to on-duty govt. staff

To express gratitude for their efforts during Coronavirus outbreak, Sanjay Gupta, the owner of Hotel Ashok situated at Laxmi Nagar in Nagpur, voluntarily distributed 1400 lunch boxes to on-duty government staff.

In the morning, the hotel was prepared to distribute 700 boxes but after finding out the requirement was more and no other hotel was available to meet the same, Hotel Ashok team increased the production immediately and supplied another 700 parcels within 90 minutes.

In a press release issued by the hotel, it was expressed that government staff, who are on duty during janta curfew, left their houses around 6 am in the morning to start their duty from 7 am. They are on duty continuously for the safety and security of citizens. In this difficult period of outbreak, the citizens of Nagpur thank all the doctors, nurses, NMC officials, the police force, collector office and government bodies, who are doing their best to prevent spread of this deadly virus among Nagpurians.

Hotel Ashok is also offering home delivery of complimentary food to senior citizens residing within 1 km radius of the hotel from March 23.
