60 Seconds Story: Three-day Orange City Science Fair inaugurated at Raman Science Centre

→ Raman Science Centre in collaboration with Aeronautical Society of India has organised a three-day Orange City Science Fair starting from today.

→ The fair has been organised for students from all the schools of Nagpur.

→ Around 130 students from 54 Nagpur schools will be participating in the fair, wherein they willl showcase their handmade science models and give an explanation of the models.

→ The Orange City Science Fair was inaugurated today by Chief Guest Air Marshal RKS Shera AVSM VSM, Chairman, Aeronautical Society of India, Nagpur Branch. In his speech, he spoke about the importance of aeronautical systems and appealed to start aeronautical courses in Nagpur colleges.

→ The inaugural function of the fair was also attended by N Ramdas Iyer – Project Coordinator, Raman Science Centre, Dr Sharad Nimbalkar – Former Vice Chancellor, Punjabrao Deshmukh Agricultural University, renowned scientist – Dr Ramesh Thakre, Vilas Chaudhary and  Abhimanyu Bhilave.

→ At the fair, various programmes like Meet the Scientist, Science Quiz, Open House Quest, Poster Making Contest, and Science Demonstration Lectures will be conducted for the students.
