Synopsis: Parched’s story is set against the backdrop of parched rural hinterland of Rajasthan. It explores different hues of the parched lives of four ordinary women Rani, Lajjo, Bijli and Janaki. While they face male chauvinism of the highest order, they are unapologetic about discussing men and sex. They entangle with their respective share of devilries in the wake of smoothening their parched lives. Finally, they wage their own personal wars to emancipate themselves.
