Dalai Lama called Nehru self-centered as he said, “Mahatma Gandhi wanted Jinnah to be the PM. But Nehru was self-centered and wanted to be the PM. If things had gone as per Mahatma Gandhi, India and Pakistan would have remained united.” He added, “So Pandit Nehru, I know very well, (was) very experienced person, very wise but sometimes mistake also happens.”
