Passing CA exams is not rocket science but it needs consistency and attentiveness: Kavita Loya

City chartered accountant Kavita Loya was the chief guest at a one-day revisionary session organised by Nagpur Branch of WICASA at ICAI Bhavan, Dhantoli, Nagpur.

Nagpur Branch of WICASA recently organised a one-day revisionary session on the topic – Audit and Assurance – wherein well known chartered accountant and past branch Chairperson Kavita Loya was present as the chief guest. The session on the topic was conducted by Pune-based chartered accountant Harshad Jaju.

Addressing the students present at the session, Loya emphasized on preparing well for CA exams stating that the countdown for the exams has started.  Loya said, “Passing CA examination is not rocket science but it requires consistency and attentiveness. One-day revisionary classes by ICAI give students an opportunity to plan and schedule the study pattern for examination.” Loya added, “Students shouldn’t be studying late hours during and before last 15 days of the exam as that can affects a student’s health and can also build up immense pressure, which is not good while appearing for exams.” Loya concluded her address by saying that passing the IPCC exam will help students to gain practical knowledge in their articleship tenure and good articleship gives great life experiences and unmatched exposure.

Harshad Jaju began his session taking students around the journey of auditing and assurance covering every minute detail related to the topic and emphasized on the little details that students tend to miss out during their studies. It was a power packed session wherein students could learn ample in less time.

The students were also briefed about the importance of Audit as a subject by Jiten Saglani (Chairman WICASA). Saglani said that audit in practical life plays an important role further stating on the importance of the seminar. Branch chairman Umang Agrawal also shared his thoughts on how such seminars can be a game changer for students.
