After launching SIM cards, Patanjali now launches ‘Kimbho’ to compete against Whatsapp

 Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev, on Wednesday, launched a desi messaging app by Patanjali known as - Kimbho – to compete against Whatsapp.

After launching Patanjali Swadeshi Samriddhi SIM cards in alliance with BSNL recently, Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev, on Wednesday, launched a desi messaging app known as – Kimbho – to compete against Whatsapp.

Patanjali spokesperson SK Tijarawala tweeted, “Now India will talk. After launching SIM cards, Baba Ramdev has launched a new messaging application called Kimbho. Now Whats App will be given competition. Our own #SwadeshiMessagingplatform. Download it directly from Google Play store.” The tag line of Patanjali’s app is – Ab Bharat Bolega. Tijarawala also explained the meaning of the word Kimbho, which as per him, means ‘How are you?’ and ‘What New?’ in Sanskrit.

The description of the desi messaging app on Google Play Store reads: “Kimbho is a real messaging app and empowered private and group chat with free phone and video calling. It has dozens of amazing features to share text, audio, photos, videos, stickers, quickies, location, GIF, doodle and more.”
