    Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday evening (March 7, 2019) would show green flag to Nagpur Metro Rail via video conferencing at 5:30 pm from New Delhi. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari would be present at Airport South Station in Nagpur at 4 pm to inaugurate the metro station exhibition from Sitabuldi-Khapri today afternoon.

    Fadnavis and Gadkari, after PM shows the green flag, would board metro train from Airport South to Khapri and back. However, Metro operations would start from Saturday. The 13.5-kilometre phase of the Nagpur Metro route, comprising five stations from Khapri-Sitabuldi, will be opened for passengers on March 8.
