Jai Jawan Jai Kisan chief Prashant Pawar claimed that Prime Minister’ Narendra Modi’s Nagpur visit, which was scheduled for today got postponed due to Nagpur Metro’s inadequate preparations and not due to red alert. Modi’s visit had got postponed as heavy rainfall was expected today (September 7, 2019) after weather department issued a red alert in the city.

Questioning the same, Pawar told Nation Next, “PM’s Nagpur visit got cancelled due to Nagpur Metro’s inadequate preparations. There was still pending work that was yet to be completed. Moreover, no adequate security arrangements were done for Modiji’s visit. I was surprised to see the callous approach towards his security arrangements. It compulsorily rains in September. Wasn’t Modiji aware of this? Of course he was. All the cities where a red alert was issued, Modiji visited them for launching various projects. Why not Nagpur?”
