Poets and budding musicians came under one roof to weave magic together at Lafzon Ka Taana Baana organised by Dark Room Poets on July 22 at Shijim Kitchen in Nagpur. At the event, which was a blend of poetry and music, musicians performed their original compositions and poets recited their poems making sure that the audience has a memorable time.

The unique event was the brain child of Husain Rasheed from Dark Room Poets and singer Mohit Pradhan. Speaking to Nation Next, Rasheed said, “Budding musicians usually need poets to write lyrics for their tunes. When I met Mohit, who’s a part of a band called Parimiti, he asked me to write lyrics for a song. I found it pretty difficult to do it and that’s where we thought of organising an event which brings musicians and poets under one roof.”
