Real Madrid companions Ronaldo and Ramos all set to face each other as Portugal takes on Spain

Euro 2016 Champions Portugal will take on the 2010 World Cup winners Spain in the 4th match of Football World Cup 2018 in Russia.

Football fans, it’s time to rejoice! Real Madrid companions Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos will face other as an absolute cracker of a match is set to take place on Friday at Fisht Olympic Stadium in Sochi, Russia. In the 4th match of the FIFA World Cup 2018, 2016 Euro Champions Portugal will take on the 2010 World Cup Winners Spain. The match will take place at 11:30 pm IST.

With Spain’s manager Julen Lopetegui, being sacked just days before the prestigious tournament, it will be interesting to see how the match rolls out. Even after Lopetegui’s controversial sacking, Spain is expected to give its neighbour Portugal a hard time. While, Spain will be banking on their star-studded midfield consisting of Andres Iniesta, Isco and David Silva to keep control of the ball and create opening in the Portuguese defence, Portugal, on the other hand, will be relying on their star man Cristiano Ronaldo to be at his best and to find the back of the net.

Here are the possible eleven players, who are expected to play in the Spain Vs Portugal match, which can surely be termed as ‘Clash of the Titans!’

Portugal: Ronaldo (C), Rui Patricio (GK), Pepe, Cedric, Fonte, Guerreiro, Bernado Silva, Moutinho, William, Fernandes, Guedes.

Team manager Fernando Santos will decide to either send Fonte or Alves at the back. Quaresma is likely to come as a substitute.

Spain: Ramos (C), De Gea (GK), Pique, Carvajal, Alba, Busquets, Isco, Silva, Iniesta, Koke, Costa.

Dani Carvajal and Sergio Busquets have been suffering from injuries and are doubtful to play for the team. Nacho and Saul Niguez are other possible options for Manager Fernando Hierro.
