Disappointed with Pakistan’s dismal loss against West Indies in the team’s first match in ICC World Cup 2019, former Pakistan cricketer and pacer Shoaib Akhtar released a video on his YouTube channel, in which he called Pakistan skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed ‘fat’.

Lashing out at Ahmed for being unfit, Akhtar said “When Sarfaraz Ahmed came for the toss, his stomach was sticking out and his face was so fat. He’s the first captain I have seen who’s so unfit. He was not able to move across and was also struggling with wicket-keeping.”

After Pakistan batsmen gave away quick wickets in the match, Akhtar’s reaction to the match was ‘Speechless.’ Akhtar, however, after the match backed the men in green and appealed to everybody to support the Pakistan cricket team.

Sharing a video, wherein he lashed out at Ahmed, Akhtar said, “It’s a disappointing performance of Team Pakistan, let’s not disheart them more and back them up.”
