‘Rahul Gandhi alone not responsible for Congress’ defeat: Nitin Raut after resigning as AICC SC-ST dept. chief

    Senior Congress leader from Nagpur Nitin Raut resigned as the All India Congress Committee head for Scheduled caste and Schedule Tribe department.

    After Nana Patole tendered his resignation from the post of All India Kisan Congress President, senior Congress leader from Nagpur Dr Nitin Raut resigned as the All India Congress Committee head for Scheduled caste and Schedule Tribe department. Raut submitted his resignation letter on Monday to Congress chief Rahul Gandhi by owning responsibility of the party’s defeat in the recent Lok Sabha elections.

    When Nation Next spoke to former cabinet minister Dr Nitin Raut, he said, “Rahul Gandhiji took the entire blame of the recent Congress debacle in Lok Sabha elections. I feel we all party workers are equally responsible for the defeat. When Rahulji submitted his resignation, I felt even I should submit my resignation.”
