Rahul Gandhi accuses PM Modi of leaking data to US firm through NaMo app

Congress president Rahul Gandhi, on Sunday, accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of leaking data to a US firm through the official NaMo app. Gandhi made the statement through a tweet.

Gandhi made the statement with reference to a media report in which a French vigilante hacker, in a series of tweets, claimed that the personal data including email IDs, photos, gender and names of the users of PM Modi’s official mobile app were being sent to a third party domain without consent of the app’s users.

Responding to Gandhi’s statement, Bharatiya Janata Party that Gandhi is just trying to divert attention from the Cambridge Analytica expose. The BJP defended the app in a series of tweets and also advised Gandhi to download the NaMo app to know about the good work being done in the India.
