October 2 being Gandhi Jayanti, Rahul Gandhi is also supposed to attend a prayer meeting in the remembrance of Mahatma Gandhi in Sevagram before attending the CWC meeting.

When asked about the agenda of the CWC meeting, Congress leader from Nagpur Abhijit Wanjarri told Nation Next that the leaders here are yet to receive any agenda. “Usually, the agenda of the CWC meeting is released a couple of days before the meeting day, but it’s a good news for the local party leaders here. The CWC is the biggest decision making body in the party, and a meeting being held here months before we go into the state and general elections will surely give a good platform to the local party leaders and workers to get into the sync with the party’s agenda of the elections,” said Wanjarri.
