Friends turned foes Ram Gopal Varma and Anurag Kashyap recently had a series of bitter arguments. Varma, who leaves no chance to voice his opinions through his not-so-subtle social media rampage, lashed out at Kashyap on his Twitter account.

During the fourth season of Koffee with Karan, when Karan Johar in a rapid fire round asked Kashyap to complete the statement, “Ram Gopal Varma is…” Kashyap with a coy smile replied, “Ram Gopal Varma was…not is.” Similarly, Ram Gopal Varma too has never shied away from taking digs at Kashyap. In his recent post on Twitter, Varma took a jibe on Anurag Kashyap and his production house Phantom Films with a series of tweets.

Comparing his firm name ‘COMPANY’ and Kashyap’s ‘PHANTOM,’ he wrote:

“A QUEEN is created by a various PHANTOMous number of people but a COMPANY is created by just one single KING.”

Kashyap started his production house with Vikramaditya Motwane, Vikas Bahl and Madhu Mantena. Recently, Queen movie director Vikas Bahl was accused of molesting a female worker, after which was reportedly sacked from the organisation. Varma and Kashyap have previously worked in many films including the super-hit film Satya, for which Kashyap (as the screenwriter) had received critical acclaim.
