Addressing a gathering at the Narad Samman Samaroh organised by Vishwa Samwad Kendra in Dehradun on Sunday, BJP MP Dr Subramanian Swamy said that the Ram Temple in Ayodhya will be built by next year. Swamy said that he feels that the ongoing Ram Temple case in the Supreme Court will be over by the end of 2017 paving way for the construction of the temple. Swamy added, “This is a matter of faith. The temple should be constructed where Lord Rama took birth. The mosque could come up on the other side of the Saryu river.” Dr Swamy also said that he would be talking to various groups in Ayodhya on June 7.
While speaking at the gathering, the firebrand MP also raised the issue of uniform civil code in India and advocated the removal of article 370, which grants special autonomy to Jammu and Kashmir.
