Rebel Aam Aadmi Party leader Kapil Mishra joins BJP

Kapil Mishra has alleged that Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has time to see Sarkar 3 but has visited CM office only twice in the last one year.

Former Aam Aadmi Party MLA Kapil Mishra, who was recently disqualified from the Delhi Assembly under the anti-defection law, joined the BJP in Delhi today. Along with Mishra, AAP’s women’s wing chief Richa Pandey also joined the BJP.

While speaking to The Hindu on Friday, Mishra said, “I had decided to join the party sometime ago; the only remaining question was regarding the timing which, too, has an answer now. I will formally join the BJP tomorrow [Saturday].”

Mishra and Pandey were welcomed to the saffron party by BJP National Vice President Shyam Jaju and Delhi BJP Unit Presdient Manoj Tiwari. Tiwari said, “I welcome Kapil Mishra and Richa Pandey into the BJP and hope they will serve Delhi by following the policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and philosophy of Deen Dayal Upadhyay and Syama Prasad Mookerjee.”
