Chandigarh based band Rudra is all set to regale Nagpurians coming Saturday night (April 22, 2017), at the episode two of The Music Story – season one – presented by Audi and organised in association with Nation Next as the media partner. The show, which will start at 7pm at CP Club, will also have Nagpur’s musician Naman Agni performing the opening act. The show, which was earlier scheduled for April 15, got postponed to April 22, due to some programming difficulties.

While Rudra is a four-piece band, three members of the band – namely Abhay Dohar (drummer), Gaurav (Vocalist) and  Rishabh Mahajan (lead guitarist) – will be performing at the The Music Story.  Rudra, which has won many music competitions across premier Indian colleges (including Jamia University, IIFT – Delhi, etc.,), will be playing some compositions of theirs, besides Bollywood music. Nagpur’s music enthusiasts will also get to relish popular music genres like psychedelic and progressive rock at the show. Speaking to Nation Next, Abhay said, “This is the first time we’ll be performing in Nagpur and we are really excited about it.” Apart from singing some popular Bollywood songs, Naman, who’s a trained singer in carnatic and classical music, will also be rendering his compositions at the show.

The Music Story – a series of musical performances to be organised at various venues across the city – has been conceptualised by Abhishek Thakur’s Radiant Brands and Solutions India Private Limited. While the entire production is being managed by Zibran Khan (Production Head), the artists are being managed by Ashutosh Mohta.

On February 10, 2017, the episode one of The Music Story – Season 1,  presented by Audi and organised in association with Nation Next as the media partner,  brought Delhi based band ‘Vyatha’ comprising Sachin Bhagat and Nitin Bhasin to perform in Nagpur at Gondwana Club. Sachin and Nitin, along with Nagpur musician Ishan Khan, gave Nagpurians a memorable evening as they enthralled one and all with different genres of music.
