Sachin Tendulkar does his bit for road safety; stops car to advise youngsters to wear helmets

Sachin Tendulkar - Road safety

Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is known to be a person who always does his bit and use his stature for the betterment of the society at large. Be it helping the underprivileged children, promoting education or his crusade against cancer, the former cricketer and Bharat Ratna awardee has always indulged himself in bringing a change in the society and inspire millions of his fans worldwide to do the same.

His will to bring a change was seen once again when he did his bit for spreading awareness about road safety in his own way. Sachin while travelling, stopped his car on a road, to tell two youngsters to always wear helmets while riding their two-wheeler. Sachin tweeted the video of the same today morning on his twitter account captioning it:

“Helmet Dalo!! Road safety should be the highest priority for everyone. Please don’t ride without a helmet.”

In the video, Sachin is seen asking for a promise to one of the youngsters, as he says, “Achha, ek promise karo. Next time helmet daloge.It’s dangerous for you. Life precious hain bahut!” While one of the youngsters did make the promise, the other youngster can be seen trying to click a selfie with Tendulkar!

As the driver drives pass the youngsters, Sachin is also seen telling other commuters: ‘Helmat dalo bhai!’
