Veteran choreographer Saroj Khan speaking about the prevalent casting couch in Bollywood said that at least Bollywood doesn’t rape and abandon girls. She said, “Casting couch is going on since ages; it is not new. Someone or the other always tries to take advantage of a girl. Even the government does it! Why are we only blaming the film industry? It provides employment at least; it doesn’t rape and abandon you. It is up to the girl, what she wants to do. If you don’t want to fall into wrong hands, you won’t.”

After the top choreographer was severely criticised by several people on social media and Bollywood, Khan apologized while speaking to news agency, she said, “I have already said I am sorry. But you don’t know the question that was asked. And now there’s so much ruckus.”
