People across Vidarbha would come together to participate in Silent March for the cause of separate Vidarbha in Nagpur on December 22, 2018. The march would begin from RBI square (Samvidhan square) from 2pm and would end at Yeshwant Stadium.

When we spoke to a 21-year-old boy from Nagpur, who’s actively involved in the execution of the march, on the basis of anonymity, said, “This march hasn’t been conducted to cause inconvenience to commuters in Nagpur. Moreover, we’ve ensured that it’s noiseless march. As a youngster, I feel the time is right to voice my opinion for a separate Vidarbha. This march has been conducted by ordinary people of Vidarbha and for the ordinary people of Vidarbha. I hope our message gets conveyed to the right people!”

Though the march has been supported by various organisations such as Janmanch, etc, contrary to most of the rallies and marches, it has no leader, organiser, face or any sponsor.
