Severe heat wave claims 10 lives within 48 hours in Nagpur

Extreme heat wave once again gripped the orange city with a maximum temperature of over 47.5°C. So much so that the intense heat wave claimed the lives of 10 people in Nagpur within 48 hours (Monday to Wednesday). However, the bodies of the deceased have been sent for postmortem.

On Tuesday, (May 28) Chandrapur (47.8°C and Nagpur (47.5°C) became the hottest and the third hottest city in the world respectively according to several reports.
