Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s paternal cousin Noor Jehan will be contesting the general elections from the Peshawar constituency in Pakistan.

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s paternal cousin Noor Jehan will be contesting the general elections from the Peshawar constituency in Pakistan. Jehan, who will participating in the election as an independent candidate, will be contesting from the PK-77 seat in Pakistan’s Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province.

The Express Tribune in Pakistan quoted Jehan as saying, “My aim is to work for women empowerment. I would like to focus on the problems in my constituency.”

As per reports, Noor Jehan, in the past, has visited Shah Rukh Khan in India twice and both the families have always kept in touch. Jehan and her family reside in the Shah Wali Qataal area near the famous Qissa Khwani Bazaar in Peshawar.
