Inspector Dyaneshwar Ganore, who investigated Sheena Bora murder case, found his wife lying in blood after coming home at 3:30 am from work in Mumbai last night. Deepali Ganore, who was lying in blood, had a knife next to her. Apparently, their 21-year-old son has been missing since last evening, confirmed the police.

Ganore, who lives in the Santa Cruz area, was a part of the first team to investigate the sensational case of Sheena Bora in 2012, who was murdered allegedly by her mother Indrani Mukerjea. Sheena’s stepfather, Peter Mukerjea, who was the media boss, is also accused in the murder. The murder was discovered three years later when the remains of Sheena’s body were found, after Indrani’s driver was questioned for an altogether different offence.

A First Information Report (FIR) has been filed against unknown persons.
