Singing sensation Shreya Ghoshal entertained music lovers with her melodious voice at the sixth edition of Sur Jyotsna National Music Awards held recently at Divisional Sports Complex in Nagpur. Sur Jyotsna National Music Awards are organised every year by Lokmat Media Group in the memory of late Jyotsna Darda to celebrate music and to appreciate emerging musicians across the country.
Prominently present during the award ceremony were former MP Vijay Darda (CMD, Lokmat), Rajendra Darda, Devendra Darda, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis along with his wife Amruta Fadnavis, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister Hansraj Ahir, Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, former minister Praful Patel, MP Krupal Tumane among others.
During the glittering award ceremony, Shreya Ghoshal, who’s known for singing some of the most popular and melodious songs, entertained the audience present with songs like Jaadu Hai Nasha Hai, Lambi Judaai, Naam Gum Jayega, Kuch To Log Kahenge, Tere Mere Milan ki Yeh Raina, etc. Aarya Ambekar and Shikhar Naad Qureshi, who were awarded with the Sur Jyotsna National Music Award 2019, also entertained everybody with their musical talent. Ambekar and Qureshi, apart from receiving the award, were also presented with cheques of Rs 1 lakh each.
