Here is the preface of the book ‘The Special Fish’

I have always been inclined towards reading and writing stories which leave a lasting impact on the mind. After careful thinking and lengthy coffee-table chats with people in my life who have really inspired me, I came across the fact that there is no denying of the effect contemporary romantic love stories happen to have on the youth of today. But, romantic love itself is a highly debatable topic. We frequently find ourselves at public forums and networking sites, discussing at length about the ways conjugal relationships and romantic love has changed over a period of time and how we have lost the ‘essence’ of romantic tenderness, which binds two diverse people together. With the people and experiences that I have gained till this day, I decided to give shape and soul to Abhiraj and Adhira – the two people in my story who have helped me explore a thin hemline of the elaborate drape that the spectrum of love and other familiar emotions comprise of. My story revolves around the twisting fates of Abhi and Adhira, who are resplendent with qualities of the emotions we contain. Adhira, the girl with a golden heart had unfortunately no space in her life for love to defeat her one more time. But, life isn’t truly rosy for the dreamer Abhiraj, as well. With the need to make it big in the big city, hailing from a humble background in a small town, Abhi finds himself at life’s crossroads when he falls hopelessly in love with Adhira. With the singular intention to make the story appeal to people of all ages and yet strike a special cord with the youth, The Special Fish brings me closer by one step to my lifelong dream of writing something that would not only bring smiles to millions of hearts, but also make a difference to a few lives. My attempt has always been to make the characters, their lives and their dilemmas as close to real-life as possible. Human suffering has in a way affected and moved me from a very young age. The Special Fish, in that context too, is a very ‘special’ work of mine as I aim to donate the complete profit earned from the sale of this book to drought-hit farmers and their families. I hope it would make an enjoyable read for all book lovers, as it has been an extremely delightful experience for me, to pen down.’

Team Nation Next wishes luck and success to Siddharth and appreciates him for the noble thought. More power to you buddy!
