Six people including three women arrested for kidnapping 26-year-old man

    Six people, including three women, were arrested by Pachpaoli Police for allegedly kidnapping a 26-year-old man named Sanjay Shahu.

    Six people, including three women, were arrested by Pachpaoli Police for allegedly kidnapping and demanding ransom from a 26-year-old man named Sanjay Shahu.

    The accused have been identified as Somu Chakradhar (29), Rasika Ghate (21), Ranjana Parate (24), Sangram alias Raja Pathak (22), Gaurav Dhawle (30) and  Ganesh Ninave (25), all residents of Nagpur.

    As per the police, Ranjana asked Sanjay to meet her at Kamal Chowk on July 22 at around 5:30 pm. Ranjana then took Sanjay in his four-wheeler towards Sitabuldi for spending some time. She then took on Amravati road in the area between Waddhamna and Chokar Dhani.

    When Ranjana and Sanjay reached the spot, they were accompanied by the other accused. Sanjay was then forcibly pushed into his car and the accused demanded money from him. A petrified Sanjay, called one of his friends and requested him to bring Rs One lakh near Agrasen Chowk. Meanwhile, Sanjay’s another friend alerted the police about the kidnapping the happenings.

    Accordingly, Pachpaoli Police laid a trap and nabbed all the accused as they reached Agrasen Chowk. The case is further being investigated by Pachpaoli Police.
