Actor Sonu Sood has started a massive drive called - Shakti Annadanam - to feed around 45,000 needy people in Mumbai every day.

Actor Sonu Sood has started a massive drive called – Shakti Annadanam – to feed around 45,000 needy people in Mumbai every day. As part of the drive, Sonu has tied up with Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to distribute food to those ghastly affected due to the coronavirus outbreak and nationwide lockdown.

Speaking about the drive, Sonu told a daily, “Some of us are blessed to have food and shelter in these tough times but there are many who have not had meals in days. To help them, I’ve started a special food and ration drive – Shakti Annadanam, which is named after my father. I hope I am able to help as many people as possible.”
