Stranded due to lockdown, 40-year-old woman gang-raped on government school premises

A 40-year-old woman, stranded due to the lockdown, was raped by three men on April 23 on the premises of a government school situated in Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan.

As per reports, the woman, who hails from Jaipur, has been stuck in Sawai Madhopur from a month due to the lockdown for a month. She finally decided to walk towards home and was staying at the school premises in Batod Police Station area to rest.

District Superintendent of Police, Parth Sharma informed that the three men Rishikesh Meena, Lakhan Regar and Kamal Kharwal were arrested and produced before a court.

Police also informed that the woman’s son has been consigned in Dausa jail and she stays alone at a rented accommodation in Jaipur.
