Stranded Kashmiri students thank Maharashtra govt; chant ‘Jai Maharashtra’ as they leave Nagpur

Students from Jammu & Kashmir, Leh Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh who were stranded in Nagpur since the lockdown began in March, thanked the government of Maharashtra as they headed back to their homes in buses on Sunday. As reported in TOI, the relieved and elated students, who chanted ‘Jai Maharashtra’ and ‘Maharashtra Zindabad’ while on their way back, obtained the required travel permissions with the cooperation of the district authorities and civic bodies.
