Lok Sabha MP and NCP leader Supriya Sule recently during her Nashik visit took a dig at CM Devendra Fadnavis by saying that the latter copies every act of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Sule, daughter of NCP leader Sharad Pawar, said, “Fadnavis is aping the Prime Minister. It’s pretty evident from his acts. He too like Modi (Mann ki Baat) launched a programme ‘Mi Mukhya Mantri Boltoy’ (This is the chief minister speaking). Even be it his decision to withdraw red beacon from his car, he’s doing it all.” Fadnavis, as per an article in a leading daily, isn’t the only one CM who has tried to connect to the common man. Former Maharashtra Chief Minister late Vilasrao Deshmukh too had written columns in some newspapers during his first term in government in the early 2000s to keep in touch with people.

Speaking further about ministers doing away with red beacon lights to end VIP culture, she said that the issue of waving off loan for farmer is way more important. Former Union minister and NCP leader Praful Patel never used red beacon on his car.”
