India’s youngest cabinet minster, BJP stalwart Sushma Swaraj passes away

    Senior BJP leader and former external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj passed away on Tuesday after suffering a massive cardiac arrest. Swaraj, who was 67, was the country’s youngest cabinet minister when she was 25 in 1977.

    Swaraj had suffered a cardiac arrest at 9 pm today and was rushed to AIIMS hospital in Delhi, as her condition was critical. However, attempts to revive her failed.

    If there was any one BJP stalwart leader that millennial missed during the Modi cabinet 2.0 this year, it was social media’s favourite leader Sushma Swaraj.
