Situation went out of control at RJD chief Lalu’s son Tej Pratap Yadav’s wedding as unruly crowd barged in the area meant for VIPs and media and started looting food items and stealing crockery.
Yadav, who’s the elder son of the RJD chief, tied the knot with RJD MLA Chandrika Rai’s daughter Aishwarya today. Despite preparations being made for thousands of people, who had gathered for the wedding, hordes of people started creating a ruckus at the venue. The people, who were believed to be RJD supporters, also manhandled the camera and other equipment of media persons.
The incident took place soon after Tej Pratap and Aishwarya exchanged garlands. The entire area, where intruders were berserk, was filled with broken cutlery and upside down tables and chairs. Wielding sticks were also used to ward off the intruders but the efforts went in vain.
The organisers at the wedding revealed that food arrangement for only 7,000 people was made but it seemed that no proper attention was paid towards crowd management.
