Almost four months after demonetization, East India Comedy has come up with 'The Modi Song' which is a dedication to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

East India Comedy, comprising of stand-up comedians Sorabh Pant, Sapan Verma, Sahil Shah, Atul Khatri, Angad Singh Ranyal, Kunal Rao and Azeem Banatwalla, released ‘The Modi Song’ yesterday on its YouTube channel.

Released almost four months after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the historic demonetization, this song by East India Comedy is about demonetization and its impact on India. It even takes a dig at PM Modi’s foreign visits, Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi and the Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal. The song is a spoof of the popular 1995 Alisha Chinai song ‘Made In India’ which the group has turned into ‘Make In India!’

Earlier this week, the group also released songs dedicated to prominent journalist and the former Editor-In-Chief of Times Now – Arnab Goswami and the President of the United States – Donald Trump.
