Thieves steal Rs 5.50 lakh from popular medical store in Nagpur

A gang of thieves stole Rs 5.50 lakh cash on Thursday from the popular Rajat Medical Stores situated in Chhota Tajbagh area in Nagpur.

A gang of thieves stole Rs 5.50 lakh cash on Thursday from the popular Rajat Medical Stores situated in Chhota Tajbagh area in Nagpur.

As per the police, the owner of the medical store Santosh Shivprasad Bajaj (53), locked the medical store on Wednesday evening and went home. When he returned to open the store on Thursday morning, he found that the locks of the shutters were broken and Rs 5.50 lakh was missing from the drawer.

Sakkardara Police immediately reached on the spot on being informed about the robbery by Bajaj. Cops are investigating the case and on the basis of Bajaj’s complaint, they have registered a case under sections 457, 454 and 380 of the IPC.
