Uddhav Thackeray likely to take oath as Maha CM on Bal Thackeray’s death anniversary on Nov 17: Reports

Just when the Shiv Sena and NCP decided to form government in Maharashtra with the outside support from Congress today evening, it has been said that Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray is likely to be the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. However apart from Uddhav, his son Aditya and Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde are also the top runners for the CM post. The Shiv Sena after Manohar Joshi would have its first chief minister in Maharashtra in 20 years.

The swearing in ceremony is speculated to be held on November 17 this year, which happens to be Shiv Sena supremo late Bal Thackeray’s death anniversary.

The Congress and NCP are yet to submit their official acceptance letter to the Governor to help in the formation of government in the state.
