Sitting Lok Sabha MP from Nagpur and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari launched Bhartiya Janata Party’s membership drive here in the city on Saturday. The BJP launched its membership drive throughout India on Saturday on the occasion of 118th birth anniversary of Bhartiya Jan Sangh founder Syama Prasad Mookerjee.
Praising part workers during the occasion, Gadkari said, “Human relationship is the biggest strength and power in politics. It should be our duty to stand behind a party worker when he/she is facing difficulty.”
The Union Minister added, “There is a difference between our party and other parties. When any of our party workers is in difficulty, we help him/her without thinking about caste, religion or language. This is our biggest strength.”
Speaking about the Maharashtra Assembly polls scheduled for later this year, Gadkari asked party workers to prepare for the polls and focus on booths where BJP did not do well in previous polls.
