If reports are to be believed, BJP MP Varun Gandhi may soon quit BJP and join Congress party. Congress insiders are of the opinion that Varun, who’s a Lok Sabha MP from Sultanpur (Uttar Pradesh) isn’t getting his due in the BJP. They also feel that Varun is being completely ignored despite he being a potential contender for chief minister’s post in UP.

Senior leader Haji Jameeluddin said, “Varun is being ignored in the BJP and no other leader except for Narendra Modi is allowed to express his ‘Mann ki Baat’ on public platforms.”

As per a report in India Today, former Congress President (from Agra) and UPCC member Ram Tandon said that with his cousin Rahul becoming the president of Congress party, Varun might join the Congress.
