Veteran actor Kiran Kumar has revealed that he tested positive for coronavirus on May 14 and has been into home quarantine since then.

Veteran actor Kiran Kumar has revealed that he tested positive for coronavirus on May 14 and has been into home quarantine since then. Kumar confirmed the news on May 23.

The 74-year-old actor said that he has remained asymptomatic since his diagnosis. Kumar said, “I am asymptomatic positive. On May 14, I had gotten myself tested for COVID-19 and my report came back positive. But I had no symptoms then nor do I have any now. There’s no fever and no cough. I am fine and have self-quarantined at home. It has been ten days, and I haven’t developed any symptoms.”

“I am on the third floor. My family lives on the second floor. I am alone; I am reliving my boarding school days as I am doing everything on my own. I am going to get my second test done in a few days. Right now, I am absolutely fine,” the actor said.

In a career spanning more than five decades, Kumar has appeared in numerous films and TV shows.
