→Wild Escape event to begin on February 5
Himalayan Explorers would be organising Wild Escape event on February 5, 2017 in which Non Resident Indians (NRIs) and youth from the country will take part. The event is organised to promote tiger tourism and boost economy of Central India. Dr Milind Mane, MLA, will flag-off the convoy consisting of 25 Mahindra Adventure SUVs at a function to be held at Hotel Le Meridian, Nagpur. The convoy will proceed to Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve, where it will be flagged-off by Ashutosh Salil, Collector of Chandrapur district, in presence of Deputy Directors, TATR- Core and Buffer.

→Two-day drama festival from today
In an effort to revive cultural activities, two-day festival for drama lovers has been organised on February 4 and 5. Two one-act plays ‘Shubha Mangal Savadhan’ written by Sham Asarkar and directed by Vinod Kale and ‘Cursed King’ written by Sachin Tabhane and directed by Sandib Dabedar would be performed.

NARI Suraksha Evam Samman Kendra is organising Samvadini Yuwati Sammelan on February 5, 2017. Dr Kamambari Balkavde Chief Executive Officer Zilla Parishad will inaugurate the sammelan. Leena Shrivastava IRS officer will be the chief guest for the concluding function.
