→Volleyball Competition

Details: Amrai Volleyball Mandal will be organising a volleyball competition to mark Republic Day. The teams of men and women have been invited for the competition. For more details, contact Shridhar Chalkhure (9763189628) and Onkar Kasare (9822983673).

→ International Cartoon Contest and Expo

Details: Vicco Laboratories with Genesys Foundation and Lalitya Foundation, powered by RK IPR Management Pvt Ltd, will be organising the first international cartoon contest and exhibition in memory of cartoonist RK Laxman and Mahatma Gandhi. Usha Laxman, daughter-in-law of late RK Laxman, senior cartoonist, Vikas Sabnis, Architect Manish Rangnekar and Nandu Gupta, director, RK IPR Management Pvt Ltd will also be present during the contest and exhibition.

Time: 11 am to 8 pm

Venue: Genesys School of Pottery, 306, opposite Buty Bunglow, Civil Lines, Nagpur.

→‘Kalapathak’ inaugural function

Details: The inauguration of Folk Art Theater and cultural programme ‘Kalapathak’ will take place tomorrow where former MP Jambuwantrao Dhote will be the chief guest.

Venue: Kilbil Threater, Kaladalan, 49, Mahada Colony, Godhani Railway, Nagpur.


Details: Swarvedh will be organising two day Vasantotsav which will offer musical treat to Nagpurians. Renowned vocalists Bharat Balwalli would be performing at the event. Programmes on both the days will be free of cost and open for all. Fest has been conceptualised by Adv Bhanudas Kulkarni and Renuka Deshkar and Mukund Deshpande will be present at the event.
