Women’s Home Trust spearheaded by Varsha Manohar has come up with a state-of-the-art luxurious old age home called ‘Soham’ at North Ambazari Road, Sitabuldi in Nagpur. The old age home was inaugurated by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on November 10 (Saturday) in presence of Varsha Manohar (President, Women’s Home Trust) and ICC Chairman and former BCCI President Shashank Manohar.
Soham, which is spread across an area of 1.5 acres, consists of studio apartments aimed at providing carefree post-retirement life for elders. The facility at Soham can accommodate 64 seniors. Each room consists of a television, a refrigerator and other amenities.
Apart from the spacious and comforting rooms, Soham also consists of open spaces, slip-proof walking tracks, a library and a meditation and activity centre.
