Yogaacharya Kedar Joshi gives effective yogic tips for fasting ahead of Ramazan

→Kedar’s Sanaatana Yoga Shrine spearheaded by Kedar Joshi and Chitnavis Centre together organised a free two-day workshop on – Effective yogic tips for fasting during Ramazan – primarily for Muslim sisters and brothers at Banyan Hall, Chitnavis Centre on May 21 and 22, 2017. Renowned professionals like doctors, fashion designers, and industrialists of the city attended the workshop. The overall motive behind the workshop was to improve the health of pregnant women, diabetic people, hypoglycemia, hypertension, acidity, ulcers, senior citizens, etc,

→The participants got benefitted by learning various postures to manage several psychosomatic problems like acidity, ulcers, constipation, hypertension, diabetes, arthritis, asthma etc. Participants also learnt advanced pranayama practices to confront thirst, hunger, sensual cravings, etc. Yogaacharya Kedar shared primary meditation techniques with the participants for deep relaxation and to energise the body.

→Yogaachaarya Kedar also shared the yogic diet tips with the participants to keep their body and mind in healthy state during Roza. Dr Mahika Goel too demonstrated postures for the participants during the workshop.

→Ms Amina gave vote of thanks on behalf of the Muslim community. She expressed gratitude and appreciated the scientific and spiritual reasons explained by Yogaachaarya Kedar regarding Roza and Yoga. Yogaachaarya Kedar too thanked participants for making the workshop successful.
