One killed, two others critical, as truck rams into motorcycle at Rahate Colony in Nagpur

A 22-year-old boy was killed and two of his friends were seriously injured when a tipper truck rammed into a bike at Rahate Colony past midnight on Monday.

The deceased, Yogesh Fulchand Aatram, a resident of Ramtek, was travelling with two of his friends – Kunal Sukhram Bhalavi (17) and Ajay Roshan Maraskolhe – on a TVS motorcycle (MH – 12/BZ/7695). A tipper truck being rashly driven by an unidentified driver rammed into the bike. Speaking to Nation Next, Sarita Yadav from Dhantoli Police said, “Yogesh was taken to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) where he succumed to his injuries. His friends are also undergoing treatment and are said to be critical. and killed Yogesh.” The bike was also destroyed in the accident.

Dhantoli Police has registered a case against the unidentified truck driver under section 279 and 304 (a) of the IPC and 134 and 177 of the Motor Vehicles Act.
