Yug Tuli, Nagpur businessman and the co-owner of Mumbai pub Mojo’s Bistro, which was gutted in fire in the Kamala Mills Compound tragedy that claimed 14 lives, was reportedly spotted at Rajiv Gandhi Hyderabad International Airport on Monday. Yug has been captured in the CCTV footage of the airport. Tuli was recently booked by Mumbai Police in the Kamala Mills Compound Fire case, wherein two pubs 1Above and Mojo’s Bistro were completely gutted in fire.

Lashing out at media reports of Yug being spotted at Hyderabad Airport, Yug Tuli’s lawyer Advocate Shyam Dewani, while speaking to Nation Next said, “So what if Yug Tuli was spotted somewhere? What’s the hue and cry about? There’s no lookout notice against him. Yug has been cooperating with Mumbai police in the investigation of the said case. His statement was recorded by the police on Jan 5, after which they implicated him. His anticipatory bail is pending before the City Civil court for the hearing, which will take place tomorrow. I have been requesting the journalists to restrain themselves from putting him through a media trial. Let the law take its own course!”

As per media reports, Tuli drove to Hyderabad from Nagpur in his imported jeep at his grandparents place, who stay in the posh locality of Jubilee Hills in the city. As Mumbai Police got to know about Tuli’s presence in Hyderabad, they flew down to Hyderabad but by then Tuli had left his grandparents house. Soon, Hyderabad police got information about Tuli’s presence at the airport and rushed to the airport. Tuli had left the airport by then. The reports also state that Tuli did not board any flight from the airport.

Tuli’s partner at Mojo’s Bistro and son of Nagpur’s ex-CP Yug Pathak was arrested some days back by Mumbai Police.
