Aanand L Rai, the director of the upcoming movie Zero, finds Shah Rukh Khan as the most obedient actor he’s ever seen in his life. He feels that with so much success, blockbusters and fame, Shah Rukh Khan still has childlike energy. Rai, who is all praise for King Khan, as per news agency IANS, feels that Khan, who’s playing a dwarf in Rai’s Zero, is the best newcomer a director can get on the set.
Rai, who’s movie is slated to release on December 21, told IANS, “I am fascinated to see how a man with 25 years of a career, with so much success, fame, so many blockbusters, can still an have childlike energy. He did not burn out.”
Rai, praising Khan further, said that he’s trying to learn this quality from Shah Rukh Khan. As per IANS, Rai said, “He is the most obedient actor I have seen ever in my life. His energy on set is like a young boy doing his first film. I want to say that he is the best newcomer a director will get on the set. In fact, that is something I am trying to learn from him.”
Rai further said that King Khan always surprised him, which scared him a great deal. He added, “It scares me to think whether as a director I am able to match up to his level of talent. He is an extraordinary man, not just as an actor but also as a human!”
